In-Network Insurance Coverage

Elysian Psychological Services is excited to announce that we are in-network with a select group of insurance plans. For most services, covered visits are available for patients with:

  • Aetna
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield
  • CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield
  • United Healthcare
  • Oscar Health
  • Oxford
  • *We are not in-network with Medicare or Medicaid*

Using Your Insurance

We highly recommend that, before contacting us or starting therapy, you first contact your insurance company at the number on your insurance card. We understand that this can be a cumbersome process, so you may also contact us directly to help you navigate the process. You will specifically be asking about your coverage for in-network virtual psychotherapy with a psychologist. Be sure to check on your deductible status to accurately predict your cost. To make this process as easy as possible, here is the information you’ll need.

Individual Therapy

Self-Pay/Out-of-Network

If your insurance is not listed above, many of our telehealth therapy services still qualify for reimbursement under most major insurance plans. This does NOT include Medicaid or Medicare. While this may make the process may seem daunting, we provide as much information as possible below to make it manageable for you.

How We Collect Payment

A valid credit, debit, FSA, or HSA card is required to be on file at all times. Following the conclusion of each session, your card will be charged for the practice cost of the appointment. You are responsible for rendering the full payment amount charged for each session. Fees for each session are below.

Individual Therapy

  • 60-minute new patient appointment: $170
  • 50-minute recurring appointment: $150

Cancelation Fees

  • Canceled less than 24 hours before appointment time: $100
  • No-show for appointment or greater than 10 minutes late: Full cost of appointment noted above

What You’ll Receive From Elysian

We will produce what’s known as a monthly “superbill.” We can also produce them more frequently at your request. This is a document that lists the services you’ve received, what you’ve paid for them, and our practice and provider information. This is all the information you will need to submit directly to your insurance company for reimbursement according to your coverage benefits.

Using Your Insurance

We highly recommend that, before contacting us or starting therapy, you first contact your insurance company at the number on your insurance card.
